5 breakfast ideas that are different from the usual

Did you know that 85% of Italians report eating breakfast? Mostly at home, and in 2 out of 3 cases there is never a lack of coffee. Guess which products are the most consumed? obviously sweet: croissants/muffins, cookies, rusks, and cereals… only 7 percent, in fact, say they eat a mostly or completely savory breakfast.

It may be that Italy is also the country par excellence of cappuccio con brioche!

One thing we should think about, however, is that the products that are consumed during breakfast are mostly packaged (67%).

I don’t know about you, but I understand one thing from this data: something is wrong!

We should learn to eat breakfast WELL, because it is the first meal of the day, the one that should give us the charge to start off with energy but that is not just a concentration of sugar…

The breakfasts I suggest instead of the weekly menu I have made many times, pancakes and waffles I usually leave for Saturday or Sunday, or I make them in the evening to warm them up in the morning…

The breakfast that satisfies me the most at the moment is oatmeal, which is why I wanted to bring you an unusual recipe, with coffee andcoconut, cocoa and caramel infusion (I found by chance this herbal tea from l’Angelica Herbal Institute, very good!). I had never thought of using infusion to flavor milk, and I must say that the result surprised me…!
